PowerBass Begins Shipping New Class D Amplifier

Chino, CA—PowerBass USA has begun shipping the newest member of its Class D Autosound line, the ASA-1500.1D.  This is the second Class D model to be released in the Autosound ASA line-up. The ASA-1500.1D now joins the ASA-1000.1D with both Class D amps stable to 1-ohm and are rated at 1,500 and 1,000 watts max power respectively.

Much like the rest of the ASA line, this new amp combines outstanding power and sound with an elegant low profile design. For more power the ASA-1500.1D strapped in a Master/Slave configuration effectively doubling the amplifiers mono output.

“Lots of enthusiasts are asking for smaller, lower profile amplifiers since space is a major concern in many compact cars”, commented PowerBass VP Sales, Robin McNeal. “Our ASA line certainly fits that bill.”

The ASA amplifiers feature high power Class D designs for performance and reliability and can be mounted in tight quarters thanks to the 2-inch slim finned heatsink.  Tiffany style RCA inputs and outputs are provided for low level Daisy Chain applications.  Also included is a variable electronic LPF crossover, adjustable bass boost, adjustable sub sonic filter, and a 0-180 selectable phase switch.  As a bonus, a remote bass control is included with each ASA Class D model.
