PowerBass Introduces Drop-in Upgrade Speakers for Ford, Chrysler, GM, Mercedes and VW

Chino, CA—Newly engineered for 2006, the PowerBass S-Series line of coaxial speakers features five models designed for drop in replacement on today’s most popular vehicles. The new models available in 3-1/2”, 4x6”, 6-3/4”, 6x8” and 4x10” are superior in quality and sound to the OEM speakers provided by the automakers.

All five models in the S-Series feature proprietary DDC woofer cones, providing the sonic benefits of paper but the weather resistance of poly resulting in accurate bass reproduction. A double pressed foam surround attaches the cone to the custom tooled steel basket. The surround is impregnated with a UV resistant chemical to help it withstand sunlight and deterioration from the high temperatures that can be found inside a closed vehicle.

Exceptional high end response is possible by using treated silk dome tweeters, a PowerBass signature on all of their coaxial models. The sound produced by a silk dome tweeter is much smoother and is typically found only in home speakers and high end car audio speaker systems.

A full 1-year warranty is offered on all PowerBass AutoSound woofers, speakers and component systems.
