POWERBASS TO SHOW AT SEMA

CHINO, CA—PowerBass USA is pleased to announce their booth location for the 2006 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The company will be showing its line of car audio amplifiers and speakers in booth #10878 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, October 31 through November 3. This marks the second consecutive year for PowerBass to exhibit on the SEMA show floor.

The car audio manufacturer looks to broaden its dealer base, meet with new customers and expand its international distribution. Currently PowerBass sells its products to a select network or car audio dealers and regional distributors throughout the United States.

Building strong relationships is very important to PowerBass”, stated Robin McNeal, VP Sales and Marketing for PowerBass USA, “We are looking to form business partners who are serious about car audio, not merely just finding people to sell stuff to.”

PowerBass will be previewing several new items at the show. A preloaded “bass box” with a choice of two 10” or 12” woofers is one of the new items slated to ship in early 2007. A unique port design will allow for maximum bass response in a box that is small enough to fit comfortably into any size truck or hatch. Marine speakers are also something new for PowerBass. The initial marine lineup will include three 2-way speaker models plus a fiberglass wakeboard enclosure capable of holding four 6x9” speakers. These boating products also have an early 2007 availability.

Another new item will be a 4,000 watt mono (bass) amplifier—the model XA-4000D which is expected to start shipping this year, just in time for the Holiday Season. Weighing in at 28 lbs, this new PowerBass Xtreme amplifier employs a special circuitry that allows “strapping” two together which doubles the power to an incredible 8,000 watts RMS of total output power!
