POWERBASS WINS TWO PRODUCT AWARDS AT THE 2006 SEMA SHOW

Las Vegas, NV (Nov 2, 2006)—Competing in a field that included nearly 2,000 new products from numerous different companies, PowerBass was the proud recipient of two International New Product Awards at the 2006 SEMA Show. The PowerBass 3XL-12D subwoofer was selected for top honors by the editors of Automaxx magazine of the Netherlands and Car Stereo Tuning of Brazil. Only a handful of other car audio products received recognition at the awards ceremony held November 1st at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

SEMA—the Specialty Equipment Market Association -- represents the $31 billion style, performance, comfort, and convenience automotive product industry. This year’s annual event took place October 31 through November 3, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The PowerBass Xtreme 3XL-12D subwoofer is one of the world’s first car audio speakers designed to work specifically with low impedance Class D mobile amplifiers. The 12-inch subwoofer has a specially engineered 1-ohm dual voice coil for maximum performance; just one can handle up to 1,700 watts of power.

Winners of the SEMA International New Product Awards were selected by a panel of respected international journalists. The award recognizes the products craftsmanship, quality and innovativeness as well as its ability to do well in the international market.
