WINS TWO PRODUCT AWARDS AT THE 2006 SEMA SHOW
Las Vegas, NV (Nov 2, 2006)—Competing in a field that
included nearly 2,000 new products from numerous different
companies, PowerBass was the proud recipient of two International
New Product Awards at the 2006 SEMA Show. The PowerBass
3XL-12D subwoofer was selected for top honors by the editors
of Automaxx magazine of the Netherlands and Car Stereo Tuning
of Brazil. Only a handful of other car audio products received
recognition at the awards ceremony held November 1st at
the Las Vegas Convention Center.
SEMA—the
Specialty Equipment Market Association -- represents the
$31 billion style, performance, comfort, and convenience
automotive product industry. This year’s annual event
took place October 31 through November 3, 2006 in Las Vegas,
Nevada.
The
PowerBass Xtreme 3XL-12D subwoofer is one of the world’s
first car audio speakers designed to work specifically with
low impedance Class D mobile amplifiers. The 12-inch subwoofer
has a specially engineered 1-ohm dual voice coil for maximum
performance; just one can handle up to 1,700 watts of power.
Winners
of the SEMA International New Product Awards were selected
by a panel of respected international journalists. The award
recognizes the products craftsmanship, quality and innovativeness
as well as its ability to do well in the international market.
