POWERBASS UNVIELS 35 NEW ITEMS AT CES

LAS VEGAS, NV (Jan 7-10, 2008) – PowerBass USA, (Booth# 3733) will be showing off thirty-five new and exciting car audio products during the January 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) being held in Las Vegas, NV.  PowerBass, best known for high quality value priced mobile audio, is expanding its current line-up of loaded bass enclosures and amplifiers while at the same time upgrading some of their existing series of coaxial speakers.

Improved tweeters for better high frequency reproduction can be found in the company’s new L, 2XL and 3XL coaxial speakers and component kits.  Additionally, the engineers at PowerBass have come up with some new cone materials to further enhance the low end, or bass portion, of several models.  Redesigned outboard crossover networks were also developed to complement the new component speaker kits.  

“All of these changes add up to a dramatic improvement in sound and performance”, stated Robin McNeal, vice president of sales and marketing for PowerBass USA.  “We made several changes to benefit the listener that are both cosmetic and audible allowing our products to look and sound better.”  All PowerBass speakers feature a family look starting with the proprietary X basket found on all models of coaxials and woofers.

Also new for 2008 are the introduction of two Mono Block amplifiers into the PowerBass AutoSound Series utilizing A/B circuitry.  “These additions help round out the line and give the consumer a real choice when choosing an amplifier for their system”, claimed McNeal, “With 13 models to choose from, our ASA amplifier line has something for every application and budget.”
